Privacy Policy

Rikaido ("this site") respects the privacy of its users and handles personal data with care. This page explains what data the site collects, how it is used, and how cookies are used for advertising.

Data we collect

  • The name (nickname) you enter when creating a quiz, and your two-choice answers
  • The name (nickname), answers and score entered when playing someone's quiz
  • Identifiers for your quizzes stored in your browser (localStorage) so you can return to them later
  • Access logs (pages viewed, device and browser type, and similar)

This site never asks for data that identifies you directly, such as an email address or a phone number. Please do not enter anything in the name field that you would not want shown publicly.

Storage and use of data

Quizzes and answers are stored on a cloud service provided by Google (Firebase). This data is used only to provide the quiz, to show rankings and per-question statistics, and to improve the service.

Publication of aggregated data

Answers are aggregated in a form that cannot identify any individual and are published as content such as "Everyone's answers". Aggregated results never show an individual's name or their individual answers.

Sharing with third parties

Information this site collects in order to provide the service (nickname, quiz answers, challenge results) is not shared with third parties except where required by law. Separately from this, as described under "Analytics" and "Advertising" below, analytics and advertising vendors may collect information through cookies and similar technologies when you view this site. These two are handled differently, so please read them as separate matters.

Access analysis

This site uses "Google Analytics" provided by Google to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. If you wish to stop the collection, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Advertising

This site uses third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies or advertising identifiers to show ads that match your interests. This enables these vendors (including Google and its partners) to serve ads based on your past visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. If you do not want personalised advertising, you can turn it off on each vendor's opt-out page (for Google, in Ads Settings) or in your device or browser settings. Advertising on this site uses "ID5", a shared ID solution provided by ID5 Technology Ltd. (United Kingdom). This information is used to provide and improve products and services, to carry out research and development, and to detect, prevent and stop invalid traffic, fraud, abuse and unlawful activity. Deleting your data

If you would like a quiz you created or a play record deleted, please contact us on the official X account (@rikaido_me) with the link to that quiz. We will handle it as soon as we have confirmed the request.
