About this site

Rikaido is a free web service where you find out how well your friends actually know you, using two-choice questions. The Japanese version launched on 8 August 2026, and the English version followed. No account and no app install are needed.

How does it work?

You answer two-choice questions about yourself, and that becomes your own quiz. Send the link to a friend or a partner, and they play it by guessing which side you picked. Their score becomes a ranking, and you also see how well they understand you in each category.

You can play without a friend's link too. Play solo compares your answers with everyone else's, and Everyone's answers shows the aggregated split for each question.

Who makes it?

It is built and run by a solo developer, Quaqua, who handles the concept, design, code and operation alone. This is a personal site, not a company or a team project. Announcements go out on the official X account (@rikaido_me).

The idea started from a simple thought: there are things you want to know about a friend but feel awkward asking directly. A question that would feel heavy face to face becomes something you can laugh about once it is a quiz. That is the tool this site tries to be.

How the collected answers are used

The answers you give when building a quiz are aggregated in a form that cannot identify any individual, and are used for "Everyone's answers". Only overall percentages are shown; no single person's answers are ever published on their own.

For how personal data is handled, please see the Privacy Policy.

Ads and running costs

Rikaido is free and needs no sign-up. At the same time, as more people play, server and database costs grow. To cover them, ads are shown on the result screen and a few other places. The policy is to keep them within a range that does not get in the way of playing.

Some links are affiliate (advertising) links. If you register or buy through one, this site may receive a commission. It never changes the price you pay.

Contact

For feedback, bug reports, or requests to remove content or data, please reach out by direct message or reply on the official X account (@rikaido_me). Because this is run by one person, replies are not always immediate, but every message is read.
